And you mean standing so close to the tv? Have you tried getting her a little mini couch or seat for just her? My daughter will still stand close occassionally, even at this age. I have to remind her to sit down and not get so close and she listens.
My son does this too. I think the baby gate is a good idea! We just moved his playpen and put him in it when the tv is on. He only half watches his shows, he either “reads” or plays with toys

@breloya LOL!!!....yes standing so close. She has a chair that she will sit in, but occasionally she will lean forward
