To answer your question, it can cause contractions which lead to labor so yes. Same with sex and having a full bladder. But definitely not guaranteed.

Castor oil can cause dehydration which will send you into labor but it can cause baby to poop in womb and swallow it which is super dangerous

I didnt and wont use it i just read that the reason that they send you into labor is by giving you diarrhea. I just happen to eat something that has given it to me amd was hoping it was luck and might send me into labor.

Try red raspberry leaf tea might help
