I had make up on when i had my csection but mine was an emergency. I think ive seen on one born every minute they make girls remove it. They did take my wedding ring off me though.

@mckenziesmummy I've heard some hospitals don't allow you to but will just have to ask when I go for my pre op appointment. Xx

@kayteamay I've seen this on there too! 🙈 And omg really?? Did they say why they had to remove your wedding ring? I'm not marries but engaged and have never removed it off my finger! 😮😔 xx

@kerrydavidson6 im not 100% why they removed them but i know they normally do remove jewellery for surgery. They took my engagement and wedding rings off me and gave them to my husband

they do tell u to remove your jewellery they moved all mine. make up in sure that will be okbx

I had to they made me remove all jewelery- wedding rings, earrings and tongue stud and all make up including nail polish! No harm in asking! Xx

I think k they will make you wash it off to monitor your condition, they will even ask you to remove nail polish from.at least one fingernail. But that's just what they do before any operation, maybe c section is different!

I had nail polish on on my toes, and wore mascara :) xx
