My mother in laws washer always leaves spots on the clothes does anyone know what causes this ?

My old one did that I’m really not sure !!

Try deep cleaning it real good !

Also fill the washer with water and soap half way before putting the clothes in that helped a little !

We ended up having to get a new washer An when we did it washed all the spots out

Does she use bleach at all

White spots or just colored spots

@taradee17 I've had to throw good clothes away because it puts dark spots all over

@bunny713, don’t throw them away trust me they will wash out !!

My spots were dark too from the washer An like a weird color it washes out !!

@taradee17 I would have to go to the laundry mat im going to show her tomorrow and tell her she needs to wash it out with no clothes in it

If that doesn’t help just google I’m sure something will come up with good advice

@bunny713, I washed my clothes that had spots on them multiple times an the spots came out it looked like deep set stains but they all disappeared
