I'm getting my membrane swept on Tuesday did it work for any of y'all and if so how long did it…

It took 12 hours to take effect maybe less

I got mine done Tuesday and I'm still only 2cm..

I had thought my water broke the day I had to get induced at 39 weeks and the nurse accidentally swept my membranes and I started having contractions 2-3 apart all day and dilating. My water didn't break but it did open my cervix due to me contracting so much that they didn't need to use the Foley bulb on me, I was scared of that they just put me on pitocin and broke my water.

I had my son the next day.

I had it done in the morning (around 9am), then went into labor around 2am that night.. Doctor told me it works about 50% of the time.. but I was also already 5cm dialated at that appointment.

@hmonday08, I went from 1cm and 0% effaced at 35 weeks and last Tuesday at my 36 week checkup I was 2cm and 80% effaced and on Tuesday I get to see what I am and get my membrane sweeped my doctors allowed me to take primrose oil tablets and red raspberry leaf tea this whole week and I've had contractions all week so I'm hoping it will work!🎉

@mrsward432 well I'm hoping the best for you! I know by that time I was sooo ready to meet my little girl.. and was also kind of ready to have my body back to myself.. I love my baby, but I was so ready to not have to pee every 20 minutes and not have her foot kicking me in the ribs any more lol
