When invited to a gender reveal party, are you to take a gift?

Is it the baby shower or just a party to reveal the gender?

We didn't have any gifts at our gender reveal party. Just food. We had a baby shower down the line. Unless they said where they were registered, I wouldn't assume so.

I would bring something small just to be safe you can leave it in car and if other people bring stuff you are covered lol

I don't think so, my sister told everyone on the invites for mine so they weren't confused

at mine people kept asking me the same question I told them no but some people wanted too so I told them only diapers and wipes.

I didn’t expect anyone to bring anything and they didn’t to mine. No reason for a gift for a gender reveal. The most people brought to mine was food and drinks lol

All gender reveal parties I’ve been too, gifts were always bought. Maybe because they didn’t have a baby shower.
