Most doctor's don't recommend cold medicine until 6 but my doctor started letting my child have children's Sudafed at 4 years old.i see a lot of moms swear by Zarbess for babies but it didn't do a thing for my child. I think letting it run it's course is the best thing. I don't give medicine unless I absolutely need to
All natural and 100% safe for babies 2 months and older. Helps make coughs more productive and immune support helps them not to get sick to begin with.
I'll be honest, all of the natural cough medicines for my daughter's age don't do much, so I use baby Vicks Vapor rub, keep her feet covered and she does fantastic. :) I've tried Zarbees and Hylands and I'd return them both. Even my almost 6 year old stepson uses Hylands and it doesn't even seem to relieve the symptoms. Unfortunately we have to let things run their course in our household.
I only give my girls this at night if they really can't stop coughing. I also use VICKS for everything.
Not at my child’s age but when they get older
Honey and cinnamon.
Lemon water.
And if there’s a fever a bath and a cold rag in their neck and Tylenol.
I’ll do anything to avoid cold medicine !
We gave Zarbees a try, didn't like it. So we give tylonal or motrin to take the edge off of her discomfort. And Vicks.
I mainly don't give my kids medicine because I want them to be able to fight it on there own which it usually does happen. But when I have to I go to the doc and they give me medicine there. But for pain or something Tylenol is good for my child
I tried Hylands but it didn't work for him. If he has a fever, Motrin is my go-to. Other than that, I let things run its course.
Zarbees brand cough medicine for infants is amazing because it's more natural than most remedies and can be used on small infants. Mommy's Bliss probiotics are AMAZING, pricey, but outstanding for babies immune system and gut. Keeps baby healthy.

-Click connect car seat/stroller. (I personally have Graco)
-Baby Tylenol
-Extra pump parts (doesn't matter what brand, just know the pump your insurance will cover costs of, and get extra for that pump.)
-Floor play mats, I personally love the one with the piano, my daughter loved kicking it to make music. It will adjust now that she sits up.
-Pumping bras, get multiple. I have 4, one for the travel pump, one that's always clean, one that's being used, and one in the wash.
#momlifegear i try to avoid meds, doctor recommended. So i use eucalyptus oils, vaporub, tilt him to sit while sleeping. If i do use meds its gonna me tylonel infant or motrin infant depending if he has diarrhea or not. I always try my best for him to be comfy and so far its been workin ! Dont jinx me lol
Zarbees is terrible, I’m not for the all natural crud. I give my son regular cough Meds and it’s gone within days, zarbees didn’t do anything, the poor kid would be sick for a week with that stuff. But to each their own.
At my daughter’s age- lemon tea with agave; zarbees immune support; Baby vicks vapor rub; nose frida; eucalyptus oil in the diffuser.
I’ve been giving my son baby Advil because he’s had a fever the last 3 days. Today it got up to 102.8 😭. The Advil hasn’t really done anything. I’ve given him lukewarm baths and make him sit there and just keep pouring water on him and that seems to bring his fever down, but it comes right back up. We got antibiotics today and hoping they kick in soon. Ugh, my poor baby. Also I have a Vick’s baby scent pad in his humidifier right now
Natural med i try....to use when able....honey and lime. Ginger broke and broiled drink but put some honey and thyme in it while broiling...dont over cook...google up so home made recipes of cold advice......essential oils frankincense and lavender... orange citrus different types etc
