My son would only nurse on the right side for the first 24 hours, it was odd and my nipple was destroyed by the time he would latch onto the left. I ended up getting a bad bruise on my right nipple and had to only nurse author my left for 3 days, now my supply is uneven. Lol

My milk is doing really good now, it took about 4 days after I delivered for it to actually come in, but I just made sure to keep putting him on the breast every 2-3 hours anyways. Now he feeds on demand because I was too exhausted to try and do a schedule in the beginning 🙃

It's up to you mama. I kind of wish I had him on a schedule because it's hard to pump when I never know when he's going to wake up to eat. And I don't mind, but when you do on demand it makes it harder to go out for more than an hour because he wakes up and wants to eat, but I'm perfectly okay with public breastfeeding. So it all depends on your preferences.
