My aunt thinks I have it easy cause she’s a single mom and my boyfriend is more than willing to be there for his daughter. Yes I’ll admit it makes some things easier but pregnancy is still hard parenting is still hard. I shouldn’t be chastised for having a two parent household any more than her for having a single parent one. Whenever I vent to her she shrugs me off and says at least you have help 😐

@bebefever94 I've been a single mom and a mom with help. Either way it's difficult, because when you have help they don't always do things the way you want them to so it becomes frustrating. But being a single mom, things are done the way you want them done but all of the pressure is on you. Maybe she is just a little jealous at the fact you have him there.

@me.mykids.and.i, maybe and I do feel for her and I’ve always helped anyway I could I bought her son stuff she couldn’t when he was born and stuff for her apartment when she couldn’t afford it. But at this point it’s like she expects ppl to just hand her stuff because she has to work a little harder but she asks me how I’m doing or feeling then basically tells me to suck it up I’ve gotten to the point I lie and just say I’m great

@bebefever94 I know what you mean, my cousin is like that she has the help from so much of our family she makes it seem like she does everything completely on her own. So it makes it harder for me to help her because she expects it from us. Pregnancy is rough for anyone, I have my husband and I'm just miserable and I don't even work with this baby. And I worked up until the day I went into labor with my boys, because their dad sucked ass at that time in his life. Lol. Don't let her get to you..

@bebefever94, yeah, I been there too. I was both a single mom before when my son was younger and am a mom with his father. It’s tough being a parent either way but if you have a good support system as a single mom it’s a lot easier. I didn’t have any help as a single mom. My parents wouldn’t help me (I’m the youngest of my four siblings) but they helped my sister who had an apt and was a single mom (our kids were four days apart). But my sister would always complain and ask for a handout. Our father would give my sis 100$ a week plus what she got from the state. I couldn’t work so I had my sons ssi and 50$ his dad would give me. I know a lot of single moms that have all this help and when they want more help they expect it. I ended up staying with my sister with our kids and I was the only one providing diapers, food, wipes, everything while my sister was getting the most money.. I’m glad I have his dad and we worked things out. But it’s not any easier for me than it was when I was a single parent. When I was single my son would listen and not give me problems now it’s just he wants his daddy and only wants to listen to his daddy.

@bebefever94, that’s for damn sure. Parenting is not easy at all.
