I am literally ripping my hair out...
So my LG is nearly 16 months old and today I've been taken into the childminders to discuss her rapidly worsening behaviour. We've never had any issues with her behaviour since about 3 weeks ago. She's started punching and pulling not just adults but there is a 6 month old baby at the childminders and apparently she aims for her all the time.
I've got a kitten and Poppy is awful towards the kitten. She will go to hit him or pull at his legs. She's been around cats since she was born we've always had them so it's not like she's not used to them...
Has anyone got any tips on how they've handled their children hitting, punching and pulling?! Im loosing my mind over it.

Different things work for different children but at her age I would start by removing her from the situation. Sit her on the floor away from play or on a step. Give her a firm no and hold you hand up 🤚 as you say it (or wave of finger). With a sad or cross face. Then give lots of attention to who she's hurt. There's no point in going into too much talk explaining because she's quite young but talk about being gentle as she's playing and show her what gentle means. Show her how to stroke gentle etc.
