Seriously, I figured she’d never learn to talk. She’d say a few words but didn’t know how to put them in a sentence. Then, I started letting her watch YouTube (Channels like: KidsCamp, BabyFirst, ABCkidTV, and LittleBabyBum). I’d let her watch for about 30 mins in the afternoon (after we play outside, or after we have an activity inside), and in less than a week she was starting to sing word for word with the songs! She didn’t understand what she was saying, but she was definitely saying the words! Then she started putting two & two together and say “egg!” when id open the fridge. Then she’d say, “have a apple?” while pointing to the fruit basket. The videos literally taught her faster than I could! Now tonight we sat down and she named every single color perfectly (besides pink! Haha. She has a hard time with pink.) She even knew “grey”, “black”, “white”, and “brown”. Now she’s really talking in sentences, and learning like 5 new words a day! I was to the point of thinking, “well. I guess she’ll talk when she talks..” but every kid learns differently. I learned best in song form, while my sister learned by repetitive writing. You just have to find what works for your little one. 💕

Yea my daughter is 19 mo and her doctor is saying she has speech delay 🙃but she understands everything I tell her both in Spanish and English and she can use words I say she just doesn’t feel like it right now
