Why do people believe it’s bad luck to announce your pregnancy early rather than later ? . I believe that anything can happen early in your pregnancy or late . A blessing is a blessing regardless ♥️

I agree that it's a blessing regardless but when you're somebody who has had a miscarriage it's easy to understand where they're coming from. I waited until I was almost 20 weeks to even mention my pregnancy to people that weren't in my immediate family because of my previous miscarriage..

@fasciamom perfect.

I understand that but that’s also the same thing as having your baby early and losing it even though you’ve passed that 12 week mark . Or a still birth god forbid . I believe that anything could happen regardless when you announce your pregnancy. So I kinda don’t see the fear behind it . But I also know people who’ve gone through some tragedies that I could understand why they would wait to announce . I believe it’s a damn if you do damn if you don’t type of situation though .

@fasciamom, my boyfriend did too after our 3rd visit . I couldn’t be mad though he’s excited

I announced my pregnancy to the world the minute I saw the 2 lines pop up, I didn’t even know people waited until after the 12 week mark until somebody inboxed me on fb asking me why would I do that, it’s bad luck and I went off on her. I felt like she was being negative and trying to ruin my happy moment but if I had to do it all over again I would do it the same way. You honestly can’t prevent the inevitable. I would want all the support I could get even if it’s from strangers if something bad was to happen anytime during my pregnancy

@riot, thank you I feel that same way 1000% !! I also believe that person that was being negative towards you should’ve just showed you support and just congratulated you instead . You have every right to be happy and excited to share your news . I’m glad you didn’t let that person take that away from you 😘😘

I think that when it comes to announcing your pregnancy it's absolutely 100% up to you nobody else regardless of what's "good luck" or "bad luck" what people think who gives a crap, all that matters is you and what you wanna do. I didn't Want you thinking I was trying to come across like you shouldn't tell people because I wholeheartedly believe in doing what you feel is right for yourself and nothing else.
K.Carter·
No I didn’t feel that way @ all love . And I take your opinion into deep consideration. Everybody have their own way about doing things . I just heard about the bad luck saying a lot more and I wanted to hear people opinions on it as well .

I agree with you....buttt after going through a miscarriage i change that a bit. With both my kids i told as soon as i peed on the stick. Then i got pregnant when my daughter was 3 months. I didn't tell everyone but enough people that it broke my heart to tell them i miscarried. Either way it's up to you mama
K.Carter·
I’m So sorry for your loss 🙏🏾
