I started buying stuff at tax time or when I had some extra stuff and found stuff on sale. Then got pregnant in October. Got mostly gender neutral stuff.
This time we waited till we knew the gender because we went overboard and spoiled our now toddler (girl). So we really only needed clothes, and still not to much because we asked specifically for clothes and diapers at the second baby shower.
