I experienced sleep paralysis for the very first time last night, it was the most frightening thing ever. I'm glad I had my hubby next to me to help me back to sleep. But in fearful it'll be a regular thing. Anyone experience this before?

At least 5 times lol. The first can be scary, later I would just pray to calm myself down and it helps. I started experiencing this after I had my first child.

Is there anything a doctor can do, or do you just have to deal? @tg192908

My husband has experience it before. Hasn’t happen in a few years tho. Last time it happened was 5 years ago. We were staying in a trailer on his dad’s property. I was still awake in bed and he woke up freaking out. Saying how he couldn’t move and was trying to call out for me. Although there is something in his dads house....but it hasn’t happened since we left that property.

@myblessings, its pretty normal, its due to the brain activity and stages in sleep. I never thought about going to a dr .

I used to have this alot and alot with my first pregnancy. It helps if you sleep on your side and not your back.
