Why do ppl in this house look at me funny when I tell my daughters it’s bedtime and/or they have to take a nap?? 😒
My girls bed time varies.. on school nights it’s at 8pm. On weekends it’s at 9pm. On days they REFUSE to nap (naps aren’t allowed past 5pm) then bedtime becomes anytime after 7pm.
I like having my girls on a schedule. And it works for them because I know my babies need their rest. But I absolutely can’t stand when ppl look at me like “it’s bed time already?” 🙄

And when people don't understand that sometimes bedtime takes an hour! Yes we have to start at 8 because her bedtime is 9. Geez

My baby varies , her bed time is anytime after 7 & latest 9 depending if she slept more during the day. She’s still small so she still sleeps not long after she eats but I hate it when I’m told, “that’s her bedtime? Have her go to sleep later so she can sleep more through the night” like no. My baby knows and falls asleep for the night at that time bc she’s tired. & even if she were to fall asleep at 11 she will still wake up around 3am to eat.. She won’t sleep her usual 6-8hrs if she falls asleep later. It’s annoying being told what to do for your own kids 🤦🏻♀️
