How many of you mommies weren't expecting to go into labor when you did... like no warning...

🙋🏽‍♀️delivered at 28 weeks 5 days , no warning what so ever

I went in for a normal check up with my doctor and they rushed me to the hospital to give birth although I ended up in labor for 2 whole days. My delivery was in between 5-10 minutes after that

Me!!! Delivered a week before the baby shower to a 4lb premie!!

Me went to a Drs. Vist they sent me on over to the hospital I had him at 37+6 was in labor for 7 hours pushed for an hour

I did. I was scheduled for a c section feb 2nd, had my appointment January 30 on my bday and the dr didn't check me since I was close to my c section and all was fine. My water broke the next morning at 5 am. No warnings or signs or anything. The night before I had very mild cramping but that was nothing new for me. I did have women's intuition that it may happen. I made my son sleep in the living room just in case. Lol

Me! I was going to the hospital to do a routine no stress test an doc walks in and pretty much tells me I’m being induced right now. I was in such shock I called mom mom crying cAuse hubby was off shore cause we works on an oil rig. Doc told me she would probably see me tomorrow or the next day to deliver cause she didn’t think I would dilate fast since I was my first baby. But women in my family are known for short labors and delivery’s. I was in labor for 8 hours and that was only because I wouldnt let them up my pitocin or break my water till I knew hubby was on his way back to the state and once he was and the broke my water and stuff and hubby was there I had the baby in less than an hour. Then we spent some time in the nicu and that was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. And it looks like this pregnancy may be the same way

I was induced at 37+4. I kept going to the hospital for like 3 or 4 days in a row to monitor protein in my urine. My doctor kept telling them to send me home after blood work so when I finally was told I was going to be induced I was so excited, but then I hadn't eaten for several hours and I was soooo bummed that I wasn't going to get another meal until after labor

@familyislife121417, I had such a wonderful experience, Ill be thinking about you and hoping you do too! Have you had to be induced before?

@princessrose yea I was induced with my first but I was dilated b4 and the used pitosen and broke my water.. This one is gana be different cause I'm not dilated and I'm vbac he can't really use pitosen so there going to use a balloon cathider to manually dilate me enough to break my water.. it honestly scares the crap out of me cause if they can't get me to dilate enough to break my water that means c section again

@familyislife121417, I was dilated with the Foley bulb, which is what it sounds like they're doing for you. Granted they also used pitocin.. but try to stay positive. I truly think that's what made me have such a great labor. I was in labor for 25 hours, and I would do it all again. Just go in with a good mind set, and I really think you'll have the outcome you want.

@princessrose yep it's the foley bulb... and when they do it I'm going to try to just relax and let it work
