Has anyone of yalls kids had a swollen painful lymph node near their groin area? I just found a lump on my almost 7 yr old. They aren't sure what's causing it to get infected and swollen. His is pretty big like bigger than a big grape. I was wondering why he kept having fever from Thursday until now I knew something was wrong. Plus he went with his dad over the weekend so I didn't know anything about the lump. I'm just worried of what can it be. 😩

@taradee17 I've been giving him ibuprofen for the fever. I took him to the Dr today and they gave me antibiotics for him to take for 10 days and if it isn't going down they are going to run test. They are thinking it's the cat scratch disease but they don't see no sign of a cat scratch or insect bites on that leg so they don't know what's causing it to get swollen. He's always had one the side of his neck also but it's never hurt him nor get red. It does get a little bigger than usual when he has fever though. They said to just look out for when it gets hard then that's when I need to worry. And the one near his groin is hard and big and red.

@taradee17 ive also read to try not touch them alot. So I would be scared to massage it.
