Had my first emotional break down today. My son hasn't come off my boob all day long or he just cries and cries until he goes back on and I was so tired. When my fiance asked if he could help I just broke down ugly crying and said "I don't know. I don't know what he needs."

Been there. Done that. Same thing he just kept eating and eating I remember I fed him for 5 hours straight and I just bawled. You got this girl💕💕💕

Sometimes that happens nothing you did and sometimes it helps to let someone help go take a shower if you have done everything else it’s ok to take a moment step back and breathe its recommended we all have those days you are definitely not alone

I've been there , it was so hard the first month . Gagey wouldn't stop crying and I ended up breaking down in tears and begging gagey to stop :(

I know this might not be what you want to hear but maybe you should consider pumping and feeding him with a bottle. That way he will get a set amount each time and you can get some sanity back. When you pump and feed its easier to get the baby on a routine. You can always supplement with formula too if you're not producing enough. I never had much luck with breastfeeding so I always had to pump for my little ones.

That's really sweet! I was able to get a pump through my state insurance, thank you though! I'm only getting like half an ounce per side when I pump though. I may just start supplementing a little with formula and hope my milk comes in better with time.

@damiensmommy1117, the amount of milk baby gets directly from your breast is different than what you get with pumping. Sounds like he MIGHT be cluster feeding. Noah did that to me too. It’s completely normal but he’s getting enough Breast milk I can almost guarantee, your milk is a supply and demand kind of thing you will ONLY produce as much as he needs but pumping will diminish it. It’s okay to let him cry and leave him with dad to take a shower. He is going to cry just let it happen, dad can just hold him and rock him and bounce him and keep calm. He will get better mama
