Isn't it funny, I look at YouTube cleaning motivational videos to get motivated to clean, and I go and clean but then it seems like my 3 and 2 yr both say to themselves ha mom clean let's mess it all up....and u see eggs and toys and stuff everywhere.😭but I love em just gotta member to breathe

Clean house vs playing with your kids This is always a fun one. I often hear the excuse of "I would rather play with my kids then have a spotless house" as a reason for not having a clean house (and I don't mean clutter...I mean actually dirty). Personally I think that's a load of crap. I have quite a few kids who are disgusting pigs....but my house is always company ready and I don't spend all day cleaning in order to keep it looking nice and presentable. Granted I do have indentured servants in the form of children and a husband but even when my kids were babies it was never a difficult thing to accomplish. I spend roughly 1 hour a day cleaning and use the Motivated Moms app (which is awesome) and so have plenty of time to spend with my kids AND have a clean house. So, what's your opinion? Is it really 1 or the other? Or are people making excuses to justify their mess?
