Hey ladies so my family and I are away and we got a hotel but I forgot to bring the baby’s bassinet (it’s a travel one) she’s only 2 months can she sleep on the mattress ? I usually don’t let her because it makes me nervous. The hotel should have a crib but I’m so worried about germs lol I’m sure they clean it but still 😂.

Sorry Mama but try and see if they have it if not snuggle with ur little one I know mom instinct u will never sleep on top of her instead u won’t fall asleep

I know a lot of people advise against co-sleeping but sometimes you just have to do it (obviously with all cautions) I used to sleep with my daughter on my chest when she was that age. Maybe ask for more pillows and make a wall around you just make sure the pillows are firm and also don’t overdress her if you do because if she’s sleeping on you she will absorb your body heat.

@ut.2010, I’m going to ask the place and wipe it with Lysol I know I won’t be able to sleep with her on the bed but I rather be safe

@glo023 oh yea. Now if it's just u and baby, it's trickier, but it can be done. It's actually easier to keep safe at two months. The older, the more challenging co sleeping safely gets.
