Is that better than a regular electric pump? It seems like the milk stops once I try to use the pump, but as soon as I take the pump off I start pouring again. Lol

I wouldn't use an electric pump until you establish and regulate your supply. you are adding more work and can cause clogged ducts when pumping early. The hakaa pump is just a collection cup. Collects your let down. Not harsh like a pump.
