@samlag3689, cool mist keeps it closer to the ground so you actually breathe it in instead of it just rising with the heat
Don’t tilt your head back all you have to do is pinch you nose and sit and wait for it to stop on it’s own. you tilt your head back and end up swallowing blood and throwing up. It’s the cold months so you need a humidifier. Keep moisture in your air. I’m a medic worked on a fire dept. don’t tilt your head back. 🤦🏻♀️
I would get a rag and run it under pretty warm (or sometimes cold water depends on how heavy the bleeding was) (warm water if its not a gusher, cold water if it was really bad) and id sit back in a chair holding my head slightly back (not too far back or the blood will drain into your throat) and hold the rag on my nose pinching my nose.
@samlag3689, no cool. Warm mist is more for like when your congested but for that a hot shower would work better. Since you don’t really want warm mist since it’s a good environment for germs to duplicate but with a humidifier always only use distilled water it makes your humidifier last way longer and the good ones are a bit pricey
