How do you know when you lose your mucus plug I wanted to ask but was scared sorry for the question?

It looks like a greenish slimy thing.

Mines felt like the egg whites.

It will be slimy looking it can have a pink or brown tent to it, be clear, or be greeny in color.

I kept wondering what it was and was happy when i finally lost it...yup thick slimy eggwhites
