Yes and my sons problem was in his mouth. The piece that connects his tongue to the bottom of his mouth was too short and making it hard to talk. He wouldn’t say any words that put stress on that piece. Consider a dental appointment just for a check up and that part of his mouth

My doc says the same thing about my 16 month old. He only says mama Cleary and other than uses sign language to communicate

My sister did and she had to get speech therapy for her daughter. Her daughter talks now except she talks so fast it's hard to understand lol
