I'm having such trouble weaning. Especially at night!

@lifewithlynniejade88, really?! Awe I'm sorry! How long have you been trying for? For me it's been about a week. I started very slowly though. At first she rejected the bottle AND formula so I waited a couple of days and tried again and she's been doing good!

Well I guess we've been trying for about a month now. Lol she just pulls at my shirt & I always give in. She never took bottle or pacifier though so I'm all the comfort she's ever had. I think she uses me at night to go back to sleep & for comfort. I feed her food & give her coconut milk or juice/water but she still would rather breastfeed. I'm pregnant again so it's really draining me. We will get her weaned eventually, I just should have started earlier I guess.

@lifewithlynniejade88, yeah it might be for comfort more than feeding. Harley at night always looks for the boob too but I started giving her the pacifier and she soothes herself to sleep. She doesn't keep it on the whole time, just for nap time which is a relief. I kinda just hug her a little tight so she can feel me. It's always a hit or miss with weening off though really.

Suprisingly, I just got her to sleep without nursing🤗 so that's a step! Lol now to see how she does through the night🙏
