My sons the same exact age, and he just randomly sticks his hand in it. I don’t say anything.. it seems the less of a big deal I make of it, the less he wants to do it. @kyntonsmommy,
@candacelouise13 my son will grab the bowl and dump it out. We have stopped keeping it full and keep enough for them to drink as they please, but now toys are getting thrown in it, still tries to dump it and splashes in it. Was hoping for a solution but I know kids will be kids lol
I feel bad for my dogs but I have to keep their water and food dish put away while my son is awake. He’ll sit there and put the dog food in the water bowl and will then try to carry the water bowl to show me what he did.
My son when Over at my parents will dump their dogs bowl. They put it away when he's over. I suggest maybe hiding it, show the dog where it's at but put it somewhere different every day. Lol

Hahaha yeah my son used to like to sit in it. But he just sorta stopped one day!
