Night one home from hospital. My little one sounds like she's snoring/snorting/wheezing when she breathes. Very loud. What could it be?

Yeah. It just might be normal congestion. Try to hold her on an incline... (I.e. In your arms vs on her back). See if her breathing changes based on position. Stuffy noses are normal because hospitals are cool and/or have different room temps. If you sent her to the nursery or for a bath it's possible their temperatures could vary differently than your room as well. Hugggsss!

@laughs.cries.whines She sounds a tad conjested. Hospital was a bit chilly.

Whooping cough shouldnt be an issue we are all vaccinated.

Maybe just a simple stuffy nose then?

🤔 hmm... Was your hospital room cool of possibly changed temperatures? Sounds like either congestion, possibly viral (cold), or possibly congestion from prior amniotic fluids. November is a very sick month. Whooping cough and other respiratory infections occur the most during this month. Keep watch. If not clear, contact a nurse to ask. Sometimes humidifiers are great, but often times dehumidifiers are too... SO, you need to watch to make sure. I hope she's just getting used to the beauty of life. :) Congratulations!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
