Have any of you ladies ever hosted your own baby shower? My mom is somewhat throwing me a baby shower and doesn’t want to do the actual hosting of it or decorating and my best friend who’s beginning to get on my nerves told me to do it myself and didn’t even offer to do it. I have no problem with it at all, I just feel I shouldn’t have to... at least not on my own. They planned to have my baby shower so close to my due date, after decorating basically by myself I just know I’m going to be so tired and just ready to go home by the time the shower even starts and I still have to make sure everyone is kindly greeted and gets their pictures in the 3 hour time frame we have. Not to mention the cleanup afterwards that no one will stay to help with. It’s getting annoying that everyone is throwing their two cents into everything, throwing me their expensive ass and over crafty ideas, but when it comes down to it no one actually wants to help make it happen or be considerate and offer help.
