That's normal. Babies produce saliva and cannot control how much they produce and also aren't very good at the swallowing reflex yet. My baby still does that some times and she's almost 4 months old

It stresses me out so bad. Every single time I hear him start choking I panic and jump up to pat his back like the nurses were doing, but it hurts so much to move quickly like that. And they won't let us cosleep. I just can't wait to be home, but I know we have to see a social worker first and that stresses me out even more. I can't stop crying. 😭

@damiensmommy1117 that's normal. She's just going to ask you normal questions like about the living environment the baby will be in and things like that. But yeah try not to freak out your baby is fine! I know the first few weeks are the hardest especially because they seem so fragile and delicate. But they're strong so you don't need to worry try to relax. Before you know it you'll be home with your baby and everything will really start to get scary lol just kidding 😂

Try to take a shower while you're there if you haven't already. It will help trust me

I've been wanting to shower, but I haven't yet because I don't want to ask my fiance to watch the baby for some reason.. I completely trust that he knows what he's doing and the baby is safe with him, but it gives me anxiety. Lol

@damiensmommy1117 ask the nurses to take the baby into the nursery part where they watch him. They will have no problem letting you get some shower time. And just tell your fiance that he gets a break too 👌
