So I think my daughter is cross eyed she’s 7 months old. At her 6 month appointment the doctor said it takes a while for babies eyes to focus and she would revisit it at her 9 month appointment. I think we should focus on it now, so we can correct it. So are there any moms who had this problem and if so how did you handle it or did it correct itself ?

My neighbor was cross eyed without glasses. Unless something new has come along, they will need to wait to prescribe glasses for her to help her see better. She looks so cute and happy 😁😁😁

We thought my niece was, turns out she was missing a part in her left eye. She's two now and wearing glasses but she's a happy little girl.

I had a similar problem with two of my sons... One had to wear a patch because it was more serious... Amblyopia. My 3rd son had it going on as a baby. The same day I took him to the eye Dr's office, it corrected itself... So it can go away!

@laughs.cries.whines, did your son that had to wear the patch get better and if so how long did he have to wear it before it did? And how did you get him to keep it on without him freaking out

He was 3 at the time. His condition was amblyopia, not lazyeye via lid, but one eye moving and the other staying in place (which is what I think you are describing too). He had to wear it for 3 weeks. (Years:Week - meaning - 3 weeks for 3 years to strengthen his other eye to work independently). I didn't catch it as a baby or even before our visit. I would have done it before had he done it in front of me. At that age, you can improvise with imaginative play...like "Omg, let's be a pirate." I bought one and wore it with him the first week because he hated it. He had a decorative one that was to make him "look cool" 😎, but by week 2, he really hated it. I cried and took it off...so we didn't go the full 3 weeks... But I would put it on every so often... Just not consistently. It did get better. He just has a really bad astigmatism now. My 3rd son, as a baby had one eye move one way and the other stay in place but it corrected with no help of anything. I was really concerned and mentioned the history with it all.

Wait let me re-explain... I just read that craziness I wrote.. 😁 . Because he was 3, it was worn for 3 weeks. Had he been 1, it would have been 1 week. Had he been 5, 5 weeks. I hope I didn't confuse you.
