EXCUSE ME WHILE I HAVE A SMALL MELTDOWN
it peeves me to the core that people in my area think it’s all fine and dandy not to put their damn dogs on a leash!!! 🤬 I have to walk my dog later at night because she’s very dog aggressive and taking her out is a total pain (we got her as a rescue) so here I am walking her being a fucking huge balloon of a pregnant lady and all was going great! That is until I get back into my neighborhood and I see coming towards me is someone walking their dogs. No problem...I just pull her lead tight and move to the other side of the street like normal. Now she’s pulling and barking and growling and just generally looking like an asshole (she’s seriously the sweetest dog let me say) but then out of fucking nowhere this tiny chihuahua comes running towards us with no leash! Ughhhhhhh! So I’m trying to hold my big ass dog back while trying to keep this tiny dog from getting too close and I take a huge fall on my ass 🤯 the poor lady is just standing there not knowing how to react because she is holding other dogs and some guy is literally just watching this go down. I’m yelling “come get the dog! Come get the dog!” Until finally the guy walks over to pick it up. Of course being the person I am I finally get off the pavement and start apologizing and saying “I’m sorry she’s very dog aggressive” they asked if I was okay and I moved on.
Here’s the thing...I don’t care how well you trained you think your dog is KEEP THEM ON A GODDAMN LEASH! I see people letting their dogs run around our street all the time and I’m like hello?? Please don’t ✋🏻 I love dogs as much as the next person but not loose dogs when I have small children and a dog aggressive dog! Have some common sense people! Take them to a dog park if you want to let them run! 😡😡 rant over....

Dude that happened to us too were taking care of a dog for a friend a German Shepard and we had our son in the stroller and we were walking and out of no where we see a small pug run to us trying to attack the dog so we try making him go away and He does next thing you know a big ass dog comes out and tries to jump on my son and the German Shepard got in front of my son to protect him and the dogs were fighting saying how they "accidently took them out of their leash , when they were taking them inside" like wtf my son was so scared!

Omg I feel ya I just moved to this neighborhood and last night I had to get something out of my car of course my girls had to follow me I can’t be out of there sight and I get to my car open the door and here comes this huge dog I push the kids in the car and stand by the door cause i can’t move fast lol well he started barking and growling luckily I had pepper spray on my keys I got it out and pointed it at the dog
And said go I think he recognized the pepper spray and took off it was very scary

@athenamarie4115, when we first moved in our house I heard something in the backyard and I looked back there and there is a giant fucking dog in my backyard! Like..how?! He’s just hanging out! I went back there and luckily he was super sweet but he lived all the way down the street! I walked him back and his owners are just chillin in their front yard and I’m like..umm hello?!
So crazy I’m so glad no one was hurt!!

Oh man that’s some scary ass shit that’s one of my biggest fears my kids getting mauled by a dog and I can’t help them but this dog has had run ins with pepper spray you could tell by the way it reacted like “oh hell no no again” I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the mailman lol and thanks I was like low key like I hope this sends me into labor lol no such luck and I’m glad your okay a fall this late in the pregnancy is scary and what a jerk the guy just stood there like hello man help me ....

@athenamarie4115, right?? Like don’t just stand there with your mouth open come get the tiny monster! I’m keeping a close eye on myself tonight...counting kicks and monitoring any changes. (I also low key was like oh please put me into labor 😂)
