My pinto beans keep turning blackish purple why the hell is the water doing that?

Did you rinse them

It’s a bad bean probably. You should rinse the beans and check for any bad beans before you boil them.

That’s the only thing it could be. I literally eat pinto beans with every meal 😆

It's not bad beans. Beans just do that. You can rinse and soak them all you want, but pinto especially just have a dark she'll which bleeds into the water.

If you're concerned, I can open my can of pinto beans and show you it looks the same lol
