@denisah417, I asked him if it was anything about me and he said no. I told him that we shouldn’t have secrets from each other and he said that secrets are apart of relationships and I’m afraid that if I was to leave him that he wouldn’t let me take my son

I'm sorry to say but that's a huge sign he's hiding something... And if you left you could take the child he can't keep the child from you or not "let" You take your son. He could file for joint custody or visitation but they won't take your son from you unless you're proven unfit.
