Has anyone gotten the flu shot while pregnant. I guess they recommend you do. Did it make anyone…

I’ve been encouraged to by my doctor, but I’ve only gotten it once before simply because I worked in healthcare at the time and they required it so I don’t think I’m going to.

I got it and no I didn’t get sick at all

But I get it every year

I had mine at like 30 or 32 weeks with my whooping cough. I never got sick after.

They recommend it but I don't have to take it. I don't think k I got one with my last pregnancy. They want my bf to get one as well and he never gets them...

I got it and the only side effect was my arm hurt for two days

@acesmomma I researched it a lot, I've gotten it the past 9 years and never had an issue but now was worried because I'm pregnant, I didn't want to. Spoke to my doc about it last week and he said that the flu shot is crap, it barely ever actually fights the correct strain of flu however to get it while pregnant isn't really to prevent the flu per say but to help the baby develop antibodies that will help them when they are born. Ultimately it's your choice and it's not an easy one.
