@caseysmommy92 @malainaheka23 you should be able to have both a doctor and a midwife. Some hospitals depending on the state do allow water births and you can have a doctor there as well as a midwife to help coach you through the labor. The hospital I went to for my son allowed water-laboring but not a full water birth but my doctor was ok with a full birth if it happened that way. My birth plan didn't do like I wanted though so I never got to do a water birth unfortunately.

@malainaheka23 because my sister had one and almost bleed out because the midwives didnt know what to do and she had to wait for a doctor to come. Also everytime i would talk to a midwife they just didnt know any answers to my questions . I just want a doctor just incase i had a emergency. I really wanted a midwife tho because i heard it was great 1 on 1 with them better then doctors. But i rather be safe then sorry
