It takes awhile for your hormone levels to go back down and it's different for everyone and for every miscarriage. Ive had two and both miscarriages were very different.

I had a miscarriage last March. It took about a month that it showed negative and that there were no hcg traces anymore in my body.

Thanks ladies. This is my first one so I wasn't sure why I was getting a positive result . I thought it would be negative right after. Is a d&c a must? I miscarried at 6 weeks. The day I turned 6 weeks was when it started.

And I haven't read anything good about the D&c and don't want that

You'll have to have your blood drawn. Every woman is different. I took a few days where other women have to have a D&C

I definitely don't want a d&c sounds scary. But I have an appointment on the 15th which would've been my first ultra sound. But this stuff instead.
