Sleepy, but awake? I have always said that I have a baby who loves to sleep, but now at 5 months I'm wondering about sleepy but awake. I EBF and I feel like a 1/4 of the time this works, the rest of the time I have to rock him or nurse to sleep. FWIW I'm not talking about overnight, he always falls right back asleep if it's after about 10 pm or before 7 am. Just wondering when is a good time to implement this practice. He's a great sleeper in general. He loves to sleep once he's there, sometimes I just don't know about getting home to sleep. We use sleep sacks and a sleep suit if that matters. He's still co-sleeping about 1/2 the night. (once it gets to be 2 a.m. I keep him in the bed because getting up another bunch of times just leaves me totally a disaster in the morning. Any suggestions?
Does anyone like their in laws?
With all the posts about terrible in laws I was just wondering if anyone actually likes their in laws?!?! I love me in laws. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful immediate and extended family. My mil loves spending time with my boys. She comes over at least once a week and will sleep over. She gets up with the boys in the morning and let's my husband and I sleep in. My fil is a great man also. He's always coming over to visit and do some odd jobs around the house...
SLEEP

He used to get up only once. Now he's up 4 - 5x a night. Honestly, idk if I want any more children. All I can think about is going years and years never sleeping. I'm losing my faking mind. It's honestly starting to make me angry every time I have to get up. (Obviously not enough to hurt him). my hus...
Any ideas on how to get an almost 1 year old to sleep on their own? I love co sleeping but it's got to the point where I can't even pee because Seth wakes up screaming if he's alone for more a minute, it's draining and I get no time to myself, would just be nice that once he's in bed to be able to have some time for me and my partner but I have to be In bed with Seth at 7/8 otherwise he won't sleep, I love co sleeping but I can't be doing this with him when I'm up every 2/3 hours with a newborn ...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
