Ok mamas! I need some advice!!
So my son’s class is learning about Hospital Heroes so they are talking about doctors and nurses and stuff. Well, they made shakers with medicine bottles and I just don’t know how I feel about it! Actually I do! I think it’s dumb! I get the idea and how it meets the theme but why are they promoting children to play with prescription bottles? Am I over reacting?

I let my DD play with the medicine bottles after they were empty. All medicine in my house is stored higher then my height, never in low cabinets/drawers and never left out. My DD has never gotten a hold of any bottles. She's 4 (next month) now and all medicine is still stored as when she was a baby and she understands she's never ever to touch. In my opinion I think it's ok as long as your keeping those types of things out of reach.

I don't think that's I good idea. It will make them cry if u don't let them play with it. Plus, mine has opened such a bottle before. Not to mention, it can turn the pills into powder.

I can barely open the bottles I have. If it's that serious to you, bring it up. The babies just like the rattle noise. Hide your bottles and give them a rattle at home.
