hey my hubby was like that. I don't know if it was the long hours at work or generally but I had to keep reminding him its only normal for baby to cry, its mind over matter. A lot of people get mixed/different feelings when a baby cries. Most people don't like to see a baby cry and when they can't make him/her quite they get angry or upset and cry themself. Keep talking to him it might take him a while to adapt. Also when a baby is so young men don't like to change nappies, feed ect, call it laziness like I do lol or just one of them men things. My baby is 5 months and them two can't get enough of each other now. Speak to someone if you have to. All situations are different but my hubby settled after a couple of months.

@firsttimemummy86, thank you, it’s reassuring to know it worked out for you in the end. I’ve been worrying so much as I’d hate them not to have a bond with each other. My little one is so clingy to me already, I’m just desperate for him to get used to his dad also. X

I know that feeling, it will work out for you too. Just talk to him see why he feels this way then work on it, that's what I did and trust me soon baby's giggles and cheeky little things will win his heart 😍

In my experience av found men just dont really no what to do with baby's because baby's dont do much my partner was crap when mine were tiny now there moving talking ect hes amazing literally a different person many people av spoke to have said the same Xx @kshelley

Thanks @chesscalouise2, @shannonn95, it’s good to know I’m not on my own. I’m sick of people asking “aww is your OH good with the little one?” Because really he does absolutely nothing for him but I’m too embarrassed to admit that. Xx
