For my experience it was bad the contractions were more painful than normally ..

I was induced. It was a nice experience for me. The foley balloon catheter didn't hurt either. It's inserted while deflated, then a saline solution, I believe inflates it to help open your cervix slowly, along with the pitocin.

No clue what the balloon is but i was induced with #2, good experience, no pain meds.. I would think it's the same as labor, other then pushing your body to start it lol
