Ok so my son is 2 and for a week now our apartment has been hot like 80s 90s hot. And we got a new Air conditioner put in yesterday. I just noticed my son's lips are starting to turn blue. His hands are cold and so is his feet. Now he was stripped completely naked prior to me walking in the room. But should I be concerned? He's not acting any different at all and he's fully dressed again. I freak out about everything just wondering what I should do

It's definitely too cold in there for him then. I had the same problem because me and my husband get hot at night and keep the air on so we just shut off his vent but keep his nursery door open for circulation. This works for us and my little mans hands aren't cold anymore. I also put thick socks on him under his jammies

@inkedsouthernbelle that's what I thought could be causing it so I turned off the fan in his room and turned up the air so it won't be too cold in the house

@dianne1211, great idea. We live in Louisiana and the weather changes so much so drastically so like I said earlier we just leave the vent in his room closed and door open to circulate and that seems to work without the AC or heat being too drastic

@dianne1211, yeah if it continues to get cold in there maybe do mittens too. I wish atlas would keep mittens on but he just won't so his hands are a little cold when he wakes up in the morning but not too much.

@inkedsouthernbelle I understand that. Ben won't wear hats, mittens, pretty much anything lol he prefers to be naked... 😂😂

I went through that with my daughter. She even was sent to the children's hospital to see a pediatric cardiologist, per her pediatrician. They ran tests, did an ultrasound of her heart, and all. If he isn't acting differently, his hands or nothing else are blue, no lethargy, breathing problems, etc. It's more than likely nothing besides him just being cold. If it goes away after you warm him up, then no big deal.
