Try to see if the baby is breathing short and quick as that is usually sign that he needs more air. Can you call someone to be with your other kids until you get back from A&E?

However, you should call the doctor if your baby has:
More than 60 breaths a minute.
Persistent grunting at the end of each breath.
Flared nostrils, which indicates an increased effort to breathe.
A high-pitched rasping sound (stridor) and barking cough.
Retractions, when the muscles in your baby's chest (under the ribs) and neck visibly go in and out much more deeply than usual.
Breathing that stops for longer than 10 seconds.
A blue-coloured, triangular shape on and around his forehead, nose and lips (cyanosis), meaning the blood is not receiving enough oxygen from his lungs.

Thank u Hun I'm panicking as my daughter wen born a year an bit ago had emergency op as she was newborn she got dyfromaic hernia she nearly doed and breathed funny so that's y I'm panicking
