Kitchen is sooo close to being all done! Jake’s just doing the finishing touches today! I can’t wait…

Can't wait for that day... 8 months and it's still not finished 😂 my goal is hopefully by the time the new baby arrives. My husband works on it daily but a few days a week he has our daughter when he gets home til bedtime cause I'm at work.

@gracelynnsmama, we didn’t do anything major just some paint and trim at the top and repainted the cabinets back to white! Jake wants to build a shelf for above the oven but I told him he can take his time on that because we are painting the living room this weekend! We’ve lived here over 2 years and haven’t done anything to make it a little more homey and I’ve finally convinced him lol

Ahh. Our has been a renovation since we moved here in February. I shouldn't complain. The trim work is left and touch ups for the kitchen. Mudroom needs to be finished painting and install the new flooring. Down the road, we'll do the same floor in the kitchen. It wouldn't of taken so long but halfway through, we had roof leaking issues that destroyed some of our work and all had to be addressed.

@samanthaann, we aren't either. But at this rate... will be at least til my girls are in school. My husband is a perfectionist. It has to look right. Bathroom has been done over. Carpet in the living room is in the future. He has a retaining wall project after part of the wall collapsed this past summer. Never ending...
