So I’ve introduced my cat with my new kitten but I haven’t let them near each other officially. Just let my older cat outta her crate and instant hissing and fighting. It’s been 20 mins now and they are still doing it but without the hissing and growling. Idk if that is a good or a bad thing🤔 any thoughts?

My kitten hissed at my dog for like 2 weeks but eventually they started getting along but if they got too bad I did separate them.

@ashleydunn, yea I’ve been keeping a close eye on em. I won’t leave the room. They seem to be fine right now but the kitten just doesn’t know when to give up she keeps going back for more

@caitlin.smith.marie girl I understand that. My dog will be laying there doing nothing and my cat will come up to play but she doesn't get how to play gentle with the dog. I don't think he minds though he never seems agitated. They just agitate me 😂

@mamaprince, yea I think that’s what they are doing cuz they pin each other down and kick each other and bite they get up and walk off then turn around and do it again

My cat now a year and a half still messes with my grandparents older cat. Shes kind of a bi*** BUT my cat purposely antagonizes her bc he wants to play and she wont cuz shes so old. I dont think they ever harmed each other but it def took a few weeks for them to not go after each other

@kariannemarie, yea I’m hoping they get used to each other. It just got aggressive so I had to split em up
