So my son still feeds throughout the night. He’s 6 month old... even if he drinks like 7 ounces…

Mine is 14 months old and she still wakes up once at night to feed. It doesn’t matter how much I give her or how much solid food she eats, she will wake up. My doctor said it’s also part of brain development why they wake up so frequently. So, I know the sleep deprivation is real, Mama

The life of a mom my son will be 9 mths old tomorrow he still gets up for a bottle sometimes depending how late the bottle is. For some reason the past couple of weeks my son would have a bottle & want to play for two hours.

My lil one is 16mths .. still wakes 2 to 3 times to latch on for a bit to go back to sleep ... it happens to us moms no matter if we want it or not.

@rasul.nadine, Thank goodness my passes out once I feed her. If she wanted to play I would just die from exhaustion 😂

Lol I am getting to the point where I feel like I wanna jump of my balcony lol. Part of mother good my son was sleeping through the night from 4mths old just recently he started this. Praying its a phase.

@tlistboom, Not to worry lol. essentially when they are growing and forming new brain synapses, all the activity makes it’s difficult for them to stay asleep.

She's been sleeping through her nights for a while. Now her bed time is 9 and she wakes up around 9. Even if she wakes up a bit earlier she'll fall back asleep. At 9 I wake up no maytter what. Get her food ready and go get her. She gets 2 naps a day. They last between 1-2 hours. I feel like she sleeps too much sometimes. I hear this a lot. Even my friends baby wakes up in the middle of the night. Is she missing something? Should I be feeding her in the middle of the night? I'm a first time mom. Just wonderingg

@mommy1991, My LO has weaned herself off breastmilk and now does a combo of formula and cow’s milk. She does eat about 50% solids now. But she regresses back and forth. If she doesn’t wake to feed in the middle of the night that’s just fine! Mine did go thru a 6 week spell where she slept through the night...then she changed up again lol

In total mine will sleep as long as yours does. She wakes long enough to suck back a bottle and to change her diaper. She’s asleep before the last drop falls from her bottle. In total she sleeps from 8pm to 8am. And she has 2 naps in the day as well.

As a first time Mum too, I just go with her signals. Occasionally she’s not interested in a nap and other days like today she needed two long naps in order to avoid being cranky

@sunshyne76 Thank you! That makes me feel better. I just want her to be where she's gotta be. I do the same. Follow her signals. Watch her body language and her attitude. It's hard when you have no other experience to go off of you know?

@mommy1991, Oh yes, I so understand! I have a good husband who reminds when I start to doubt myself that “I got this”. It settles my anxiety and I trust my mummy instincts. So you do the same 😊 Plus I don’t hesitate to ask the health professionals around me for feedback.

@mommy1991 my lil one naps once a day .. for maybe 2 hrs .. wakes twice in a night for comfort. She still breastfeeds to sleep but eats solids completely for her meals. She won't drink cow's milk .. but I will keep trying.

Calyssa weaned herself off as well, she doesn't drink cows milk or formula she refuses to drink any even from a baby strictly almond milk, se eats 3 meals a day just like we do and snacks in between but her fat ass still won sleep straight through the night even with cereal in her bottle, she take 2-3 naps a day 45mins-1.30mins not very long @mommy1991, be very happy you get a fills night sleep is other mamas are begging for lol you got lucky girl

I’m allergic to all nuts so I can’t try any of the nut milks. But I may try her on coconut milk. It has more fat that rice milk (which I use) but doesn’t cause food intolerances like cow’s milk does.
