Amazon has really good prices on formula, and they do the subscription which is usually good too. Target runs sales where when you buy a certain amount of formula you get a gift card that we always used next time we needed formula.

His doctor said the store brand formulas are of the same quality as the name brands, sometimes even made in the same factory.

If you sign up for the formula emails and stuff, you can get some good coupons every month.

Don't think about failing at breastfeeding. Only about 3% of women actually cannot produce milk. Set yourself up with the resources now like a lactation consultant, take a breastfeeding class etc.

This won't cover all you need but if it comes down to it and you have to formula feed at every Pediatrician appointment ask for formula samples. I did that and usually got 4 16oz containers. It's not much but it helps and it's free!!!!

The store brand formula is pretty much the same as main brands. Parents Choice from Walmart is exactly the same as Enfamil, my son actually did better with the parents choice brand so I've used that since he was 8 months old.

I know everyone has different feelings on this, but if you are dead set on breastmilk, try finding a donor. Most only ask that you pay for the bags or replace them.

Here's a link worth looking at the one i dont think anyone has mentioned yet is food banks you should have local food banks that might be able to help you out I know when my daughter switched from formula to milk at a yr old we brought all her unused formula and baby food to the local food bank.
