So I finally just broke down and got castor oil and have just took it.. I know some of you mommies are against this method but I've had a rough pregnancy and I know my baby is ready he just needs that extra push... I've been having contraction all day yesterday and night there just not close enough for the hospital to keep me... so fingers crossed this pushes them to point well be meeting our little man soon

Drink lots of water. It is a laxative, and a prolonged bout of diarrhea can lead to dehydration, which can be dangerous for both you and the baby. Also, castor oil is meant to be used for women who are full term; 40 weeks. Good luck!

If your baby was ready he would've come out. Sounds more like you're ready and being selfish. I hope you also got some preparation h and Gatorade when you got the castor oil because most likely you'll just end up dehydrated with a burning ass and no baby to show for it.

I've heard that since castor oil is a laxative, there's a possibility for it to cause the baby to have a bowel movement in the womb.. which can be fatal. Castor oil is no joke. I wish you the best of luck and that you'll both be ok

One of my friends recently drank this (like a few days ago) she mixed it with orange juice and she went for a walk and bam she had her baby so it’s ultimately your decision don’t let other people make you feel selfish or like a bad mom because you’re ready for your baby to be here, she said she had a little diarrhea but nothing major !
