I'm really wanting to get engaged to my boyfriend!!!So here's the short version of everything. I found out March 18, 2016 at 4weeks that I was expecting, my daughter's sperm donor tried to start beating on me and so I left him immediately. Two months later May 7, 2016 my now boyfriend and I got together, and he knew from the start that I was pregnant and he's been there from day one. We lived right next door to each other and was basically living together (alternating between my apartment and his on which we stayed at). Fast forward to March 2017 we move out of our two apartments and moved in to our new two bedroom apartment. In my eyes he is and will always be my daughter dad. And I want to spend the rest of my life with him raising our daughter and any other babies we may have in the future. How do I get my mind off wanting to get engaged or how do I get him to propose without making him feel pressured lol

I wouldn't say anytime soon but I would ask him how he feel about marriage. It's a conversation you really should have when thinking about starting a relationship because you both know what each other want. You two have already had a child but I guess it is still something you can talk about. I just hope for you that marriage is something he wants.

@teniera @junesmommy_15 @db413 my boyfriend and I have talked about marriage on a few different occasions and we've also talked about having another child after marriage. I feel ready to get engaged, I'm someone who would like to have a sort of long engagement to save more money and everything, I just don't know if he's ready yet or what.

@1xmom, well. He’s currently raising a kid he didn’t help make, which makes him amazing by the way. I know it’s hard to do that. And I think if you guys have talked about it then maybe he’s planning something special. Have you discussed your wants for a long engagement with him? Cuz if you haven’t then maybe he’s trying to save up the money for a wedding before asking you.

@db413 he is truly amazing and I'm so blessed to have him in my life. It's so hard to save money with our daughter and all our bills even with both of us working, and now the holidays. I try not to bring up getting engaged cause I feel like if I do then he might feel pressured if he is planning something
