I am still co sleeping and my daughter is a year in 2 days. Try to persevere hun. You will be so much better off. They love your warmth and smell but if you can train him it's less hassle for you later on. I'm snookered now got an empty cot in my room that she refuses to go in 😢

He has coslept with me since he was born pretty much, tried about a month in his own cot and he got worse and worse with his sleep, goes in his cot till 3am then comes in bed otherwise I get 0 sleep x

Make sure everything is flat lay him on top of duvet, give him plenty space not near edges of bed and keep all pillows away from his head xx

I co sleep with my baby who is 6 weeks old and she only gets up once a night it's great to just lean over and start a feed. I also co slept with my 2 year old till she was 3months old then she was in her own bed in her own room. That's my plan for this wee lady too. Just ensure they lay flat on there back no pillows and there hands above any blankets. As a parent I don't go into a deep sleep knowing she's next to me. X

It's not for everyone @kshelley but it does make life alot easier. Have u tried Moses basket or crib next to you and putting in a top that smells like you next to him. Sometimes it's just the comfort of knowing your there for the kids. X

Ye @daniellep5690 I've tried putting in a top, and the crib is always right by me, but all he wants is cuddles and I'm happy to give them to him. But all these horror stories scare me but I know we'd both sleep so much better if I had him next to me x.

I would just do it tbh if it means you both get a better sleep xx
