Ouch. That happened to my aunt a few years ago...drunk kids at 1am. Threw the whole foundation off!

They paid for all the repairs out of pocket and then got reimbursed once insurance and the lawsuits were done. But their contractor was the dude who built the house, so he was trustworthy. I don't think they asked for that much upfront...more like a 5k deposit. Is the contractor tour landlord paid someone trustworthy, or sketchy?

@nomli, I believe it’s the person who did her house (she had hers built) with the baby coming in February it’s just getting really frustrating. She is having my husband tear off the room because it was an add on.

But once he is done then what.. it’s like we get a few steps forward and then there is a long pause.

Oh man, that sucks. Especially getting into winter and a baby coming. How much damage was there?
